Planning- Micro elements - Mr Smith

 Micro elements:

cinematography: In our video we are going to be using blood to show a sign of death. The colour blood represents evilness and danger. Therefore, we included blood when the female victim dies. we also put blood on the antagonists face, knife and clothes. This highlights that the antagonist was the killer of the sister. We also included blood drops on the stairs to create tension so the audience would be suspicious. Furthermore, we also decided to use  purple lens to show that the character is processed and the lens will give a hint to the audience that the character is not normal theirs something wrong with the character. We will also use a knife to show the audience how the female victim got killed and there would be blood on it to show the audience that it was that knife that killed the female victim and that the killer was holding the knife.

Editing: Fast editing will be used in my video when Amani sees the blood on the floor while he is walking to his house when Amani sees the blood on the floor he will rush up to his house because he is concerned about his sister that is at home alone. Therefore, slow editing will be used when Amani sees blood going into his house and Amani is in shock because his sister has been killed.Furthermore, slow editing is also being used when Amani is trying to reach out to hi site but unfortunately he is so weak to be able to reach to his sister.

Sound: In the beginning of the movie we will be hearing on screen sound because Amani will be rushing and we will hear his breathing and his footsteps to show the audience that he is rushing. Off screen sound will be used when Amanis about to walk into the house to create tension. Furthermore, on screen is also going to be used when Amanis sister is whispering to her brother "you killed me" "why did you kill me".

  1. Not enough detail in this...

For Each micro-element you should have
Introduction… (What is typical / why important etc)
Effective uses within thrillers… (examples from other films)
Discuss examples in your work using PEE
    7 (cinematography) 5 (sound / editing)
Conclusion: How has this planning been beneficial?

Not worth marking in its current state.
